Kiel Flag Hurricanes - Flag Football in Kiel
The Kiel Flag Hurricanes are a successful Flag Football team from Kiel, part of the larger Kiel Baltic Hurricanes family. Under the leadership of Head Coach Torben Beeck, the Flag Hurricanes have been competing successfully in the German Flag Football League (DFFL) for years. In 2021, the team managed to defeat the reigning champions and win the DFFL Bowl XI against the Dresden Monarchs.
Flag Football is a variant of American Football where, instead of tackling, players remove a flag from the opponent's belt. This makes the game more dynamic and faster, making it particularly attractive to players of all ages and body types. The Kiel Flag Hurricanes consist of a mix of experienced tackle players and pure flag football players aged 16 and up.
