FAQ – Order & Payment
How does the ordering process work?
Select the products you want and add them to your cart. Then proceed to checkout, enter your shipping address, and choose your preferred payment method. After you complete the order, you’ll receive an order confirmation by email.
Do I need to create a customer account to place an order?
No, you can also order as a guest. A customer account can be helpful for things like order overview/history, shipment status, and a wish list.
What payment methods do you offer?

Is there a minimum order value?
No, there is no minimum order value. You can shop with us regardless of the order amount.
How can I change or cancel my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible via email or by phone at +49 (0)35476656809 if you wish to change or cancel your order. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request as long as the order has not yet been shipped.
How do I receive an invoice for my order?
The invoice will be sent to you via email after the order has been shipped. You can also view and download it in your customer account under Orders.
Can I use multiple discount codes in one order?
In most cases, only one discount code can be applied per order. If you’re unsure whether a code works with a specific promotion, contact us and we’ll help you check.
What should I do if my payment fails?
First, try the payment again or choose another payment method at checkout. If it still doesn’t work, contact us with your order number (if available) so we can help you quickly.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Sometimes, yes – as long as the order hasn’t been shipped yet. Contact us as soon as possible via email so we can check what’s still possible.
FAQ – Return & Replacement
Can I return a product if I don't like it?
Yes. You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 1 month of receiving the goods. The item must be unused. For full details, please check our Return Policy.
How long do I have to return an item?
You have 1 month to return your items. If you think you might run out of time, just send us an email. The exact conditions can be found in our Return Policy.
How does the return process work?
Your package includes a return slip with all the necessary information for the return. This slip is personalized for your order. You should have also received an email with the same return slip. If you can’t find it, contact us at service@american-footballshop.de.
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
Returns within Germany are free of charge. If you are returning an item from outside Germany, you will need to cover the return shipping costs.
Can I exchange an item?
Since exchanges significantly delay the reshipment process, we generally do not offer direct exchanges. Please place a new order for your desired item, and we will refund your return as soon as we receive and inspect it.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process the refund within the legal timeframe (typically up to 14 days). Refunds are issued using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless agreed otherwise.
What condition do items need to be in for a return?
Please return items unused and in original condition, ideally with original packaging and all labels. If an item shows signs of use, it may affect the refund.
What if my order arrives damaged or something is missing?
Please contact us as soon as possible at service@american-footballshop.de. If the parcel or product is damaged, include photos of the packaging and the item so we can help quickly.
FAQ – Shipping & Delivery
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship within Germany and to many European countries. A detailed list of shipping destinations can be found in our Shipping Information.
How much are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs within Germany start at €5.95. Orders over €49.00 qualify for free shipping. Shipping costs for other countries and further details can be found in our Shipping Information.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery within Germany is usually 1–3 business days (typically via DHL). Some products ship via GLS and/or UPS, with delivery times often around 5–9 days. The exact delivery time is shown on the product page. Delivery times for other countries may vary and are listed in our Shipping Information.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery online.
What happens if I’m not at home when my order is delivered?
In most cases, the courier will leave a notification and either attempt delivery again or drop the parcel at a nearby pickup location/parcel station. The exact options depend on the carrier. If you have a drop-off agreement with DHL, your package may be left at your designated location.
Do you offer express shipping?
Currently, we do not offer express shipping. However, we process orders quickly and aim to ship as fast as possible.
Is there a free shipping option?
Yes. Within Germany, shipping is free for orders over €49.00. For more details, please check our Shipping Information.
Can my order be shipped in multiple parcels?
Yes, depending on the items and the warehouse/shipping method, your order may arrive in more than one parcel. You’ll receive tracking information for each shipment when available.
What if my tracking hasn’t updated for a while?
Sometimes tracking scans can pause temporarily. If the status doesn’t change for an unusually long time, contact us with your order number and we’ll help you check the next steps.

What products do you offer?
We offer a wide selection of American football equipment for players, as well as fan merchandise for football enthusiasts and NFL fans. Our range includes helmets, shoulder pads, apparel, footwear, and much more.
Do you have a physical store or only an online shop?
We operate primarily as an online shop at www.american-footballshop.de. Currently, we do not have a walk-in retail store. However, you’re welcome to visit us by appointment for personal consultation. Please call us in advance at +49(0)35476/656809.

Are the products always in stock?
Stock status varies by item. The product page shows availability and estimated delivery time. If you order multiple items, they may ship from different warehouses and arrive in separate parcels.
