The Straubing Spiders, founded in 1984, are one of the leading American football teams in Bavaria, currently competing in GFL2. With over 40 years of history, the Spiders are firmly established in the German football scene. The club offers teams for all age groups, from youth to senior level, as well as cheerleading and flag football.

The Spiders play their home games at the infamous "Spiderdome," where more than 1,000 fans cheer the team on during each match. The club focuses heavily on youth development and is actively involved in the region's sports and community programs. After several successful years in the Regionalliga, they achieved promotion to GFL2 in 2017, solidifying their status as one of Bavaria's top teams.

Whether as a player or fan, the Straubing Spiders offer a unique football experience and a strong community, promoting and embodying American football in Lower Bavaria.
