American football is a contact sport. Your equipment is subject to high stress. Gloves designed for catching balls should not be used for tackling or intercepting in the event of a fall. Padded gloves are slightly more resistant due to their nature. Wear-and-tear items can be damaged during the first use. If you discover a defect in your gloves, this is not automatically subject to the legal liability for defects. You can repair small holes by using a needle and thread.
Note on grip
If the gloves have a printed inner surface, this will usually not last as long as if there was no design printed on it.
If, as a result of catching balls or other activities, the print peels or comes off, this does not constitute a defect or a right to a warranty. In the case of printed gloves, extreme wear and tear must be expected to cause this printed layer to flake off.
The silicone material underneath usually remains intact for longer.
